Kitchens and bathrooms, which should be the heart and soul of any home, often became our biggest source of stress and disappointment. We knew there had to be a better way.

In our development project in Helensburgh, Argyll we undertook a comprehensive renovation that transformed the property. Historic settlement meant that we had to level the floor in every room before we began work The kitchen and bathroom were in a truly awful state, prompting a complete overhaul with the installation of modern units, a Siemens oven, concealed appliances, designer lighting, and a beautiful new wood floor throughout.
This kitchen is barely recognisable from its original state. We customised a wall unit to discreetly hide the combi boiler and fitted integrated appliances for a sleek look. The design features a mix of matt grey base units and stone-coloured gloss wall units, creating a contemporary and elegant contrast. The angled extractor fan adds a modern statement, while the wide ceramic hob offers a unique and functional cooking surface. The laminate worktops, with their extremely thin profile, enhance the modern feel, providing a smooth yet extremely hard-wearing surface. Though the apartment is Victorian, we have blended this modern kitchen sympathetically, giving it a stylish, modern twist.
